EVER VICTORIOUS IN CHRIST ( PART 3)
KEY TEXT: John 6:63 KJV — “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

THE WORD — THE FOUNDATION OF LASTING VICTORY: No believer can sustain victory without the Word of God. The Word reveals who you are, what you carry, and what belongs to you in Christ. Jesus overcame temptation by declaring, “It is written” (Matthew 4:4). Every time you declare God’s Word in faith, you reinforce your victory. The Word of God is your sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). It cuts through the lies of fear, doubt, and defeat, establishing divine truth in your heart. Victory is sustained when your mind is renewed daily through Scripture (Romans 12:2).
THE HOLY SPIRIT — THE POWER BEHIND VICTORY:
The Word gives you understanding, but the Spirit gives you power. The Holy Spirit is the active presence of God that enforces the reality of your victory. He strengthens, guides, and empowers you to overcome life’s challenges. Romans 8:11 says, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he... shall also quicken your mortal bodies.” The same Spirit that raised Christ is living in you — therefore, weakness cannot have the last word. Fellowship with the Holy Spirit daily; He will always lead you in triumph (2 Corinthians 2:14).
LIVING IN WORD AND SPIRIT BALANCE:
Victory becomes permanent when the Word and the Holy Spirit work together in your life. The Word gives direction; the Spirit gives execution. When you read, believe, and act on the Word under the inspiration of the Spirit, you walk in unstoppable power. Psalm 119:105 says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Stay full of the Word, filled with the Spirit, and focused on Christ — and your life will become a continuous stream of victory and glory.
PRAYER:
Lord Jesus Christ, fill me daily with Your Word and Your Spirit. Let Your truth and power keep me victorious over every challenge of life, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
