ENDURE FOR THE CROWN OF LIFE

KEY TEXT: Romans 8:18 KJV: “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

HOLD UNTO JESUS: As believers, we will face many trials for the name of Christ. We will be hated, ridiculed, and cast aside because of our faith. Following Jesus is not an easy road; it demands sacrifice. We may lose things and people dear to us, but the path of the cross is one we must take. The trials and sufferings of today cannot be compared to the eternal glory that awaits us. No matter how difficult the journey is, we must endure and hold onto Jesus. Romans 8:18

OVERCOME TEMPTATIONS: Temptations will come, urging us to compromise our faith, but we must stand firm. Joseph refused the invitation to sin because he feared God, and we must do the same. The world may offer comfort, wealth, or influence, but nothing is worth trading away Christ. Every tear shed for the gospel is seen by God. What seems like loss now will be repaid a hundredfold. The world will pass away, but those who do the will of God will abide forever. Genesis 39:7–11

REWARD OF PERSEVERANCE: No suffering for Christ is in vain. He sees every hardship we endure, and he is building our reward. The race is only won by those who keep running, by those who do not give up along the way. Fix your eyes on Jesus, and do not let sin creep in, for sin will make a person suffer for Christ, yet still face regret. The Lord is with you, strengthening you. Endure, persevere, and press on, for in due time, we will reap the reward of eternal life. Mark 10:29-30

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I receive limitless grace to endure all that is written of me to endure while on earth for you, In Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.

REFLECTION: Mark 10:29-30 KJV: “And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time… and in the world to come eternal life.”
