The story of Job is a shining example of divine restoration. After losing everything, Job remained faithful, and God restored him with twice as much as he had before. This shows us that perseverance through trials invites God’s hand of restoration: “So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning…” – JOB 42:12

God's restoration often involves repositioning. He lifts us from the pits of despair and sets us on higher ground. He does not just return us to where we were—He elevates us to where we are meant to be. Restoration comes with promotion. “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.” – PSALM 40:2

Restoration also brings reconciliation. Where there has been division, God heals and reunites. He restores families, friendships, and even nations. His Spirit is one of peace and unity, mending what was torn by strife. “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ…” – 2 CORINTHIANS 5:18

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus Christ, empower me more and more to wait on you till my change comes in the order of Job, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

ROMANS 8:25 KJV: “But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.”
