DIVINE ELEVATION (PART 4)

KEY TEXT: PSALM 84:11 KJV: “For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.”

GOD OPPOSES THE PROUD AND ELEVATES THE HUMBLE: Pride is a hindrance to elevation, but humility opens the door to God’s favor. "But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble" (JAMES 4:6).

DIVINE FAVOR FOR ELEVATION: God’s favor is an essential part of being elevated. His grace positions us where no human effort can. "For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield" (PSALM 5:12).

ELEVATED TO SERVE OTHERS: God elevates us not just for personal gain but to be a blessing to others. Our promotion carries a purpose. "But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant" (MATTHEW 23:11).

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, have mercy on me and let your favor locate me for divine elevation, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.  

REFLECTION: PSALM 102:13 KJV: “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.”
