DIVINE ELEVATION

KEY TEXT: ROMANS 8:28 KJV: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Happy New Year to you, my dearly beloved in Christ. I thank God we are given the privilege of another year to do the will of God. It''s the will of God for you to be elevated and live a life of divine elevation this year, as you walk in obedience to His word in humility. Elevation is part of God’s divine plan for His people. From the beginning, He designed us to rise above challenges, glorify Him, and fulfill our purpose. God’s intention is not just to sustain us but to lift us up. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end" (Jeremiah 29:11).


The Importance of Humility in Elevation:
True elevation comes when we humble ourselves before God. The Bible teaches that humility is a prerequisite for being exalted. "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time" (1 Peter 5:6).


Trusting God’s Timing:
Elevation happens in God’s time, not ours. Waiting patiently on Him ensures we are prepared for the heights He is taking us to. "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31).

PRAYER: My Father and my God, I thank you for the privilege of another year. Please have mercy on me in anyway I failed you in my past years, and grant me the grace to live in total obedience to your will this year and to fulfill your purpose for my life, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: JAMES 4:10 KJV: “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”
