DEEPER WALK WITH GOD

KEY TEXT: Psalms 27:4 KJV: "One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple."

INTIMACY WITH GOD: A deeper walk with God involves a growing sense of intimacy, closeness, and familiarity with Him. It's a desire to know God more personally and experience His presence in our lives (Jeremiah 29:13). It is a spiritual communion with God that involves experiencing spiritual communion with Him, where we feel united with Him in spirit, soul, and body. 1 Corinthians 6:17

SPIRITUAL MATURITY: Spiritual maturity, is the process of growing in our faith, character, and obedience to God. It's a journey of becoming more like Christ and reflecting His image in our lives (Ephesians 4:13). It is developing a deeper understanding of God's Word, cultivating a stronger relationship with Him, and demonstrating Christ-like character in our daily lives. 1 John 2:6

SURRENDER AND SUBMISSION: A deeper walk with God is surrendering our will, desires, and plans to His will. It's a willingness to submit to His sovereignty, wisdom, and goodness, even when we don't fully understand His ways. Romans 12:1-2

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, I desire a deeper walk with You. Help me to seek Your presence, study Your Word and obey Your voice. Help me to walk with You, that I may experience more intimacy with You. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

REFLECTION:

A deeper walk with God is bearing fruit and being productive for His kingdom. It's a desire to serve Him, glorify Him, and make a difference in the lives of others. John 15:4-5
