DEDICATION TO GOD IS DEMANDED (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: 1 Corinthians 15:33 KJV - "Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners."

SURROUND YOURSELF WITH GODLY PEOPLE:
It is easier to stay dedicated to God when we surround ourselves with people who also love Him. Friends who encourage us in our faith help us grow stronger. If we spend too much time with people who do not follow God, they can lead us away from Him. It's a dangerous thing to think one is too strong to fall. No one is immune from falling, that is why the Bible encourages us to flee from every appearance of sin, and also warned he that thinks he stands to take heed lest he falls. "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend" (PROVERBS 27:17).

SERVING GOD IS PART OF DEDICATION:
One way to show dedication is by serving God with our talents and gifts. Whether it is singing, preaching, helping others, or giving, everything we do for God matters. When we serve Him, we grow in our relationship with Him and become more like Jesus. "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men" (COLOSSIANS 3:23).

DEDICATION BRINGS REWARDS:
God rewards those who are faithful and dedicated to Him. The rewards may not always be immediate, but God never forgets our labor of love. He blesses us with peace, joy, and eternal life with Him. "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (HEBREWS 11:6).

PRAYER:

Father, deliver me from carelessness and pride that I might not fall prey to the scheme of Satan, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

1 CORINTHIANS 10:12 KJV: "Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall."
