COMPLETE CHANGE THROUGH CHRIST

KEY TEXT: Matthew 11:28-30 KJV: "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

COME TO GOD: Come to God as you are, regardless of the position you find yourself in. Christ is ready to heal and lift every burden of sin you may be carrying. God is able to transform you into His purified child. Whatever state you are in, come to Him for total cleansing. (Ephesians 4:22–24)

A TRANSFORMED LIFE: When God cleanses you, you will see your life transformed and renewed. Your stony heart will be turned into a heart of flesh. The words of your lips will become gracious and pure. When God works in you, allow Him to shape you into His perfect image—an image of holiness and righteousness, purchased for you through His blood for the redemption of mankind. (Ezekiel 36:26)

THE GREAT CHANGE: But as you come as you are, do not go back the same way you came, for with Christ comes a divine change. Do not go back to your old worldly habits, lifestyles, dresses, friendships, or relationships as before. There must be a great change after you have come into the light of understanding. Make the choice today to come as you are—but do not leave the same way you came to Christ. Amen. (Romans 12:2)

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus Christ, as I come to you today with every load and burden of sin, may I go back renewed and transformed in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Isaiah 1:18 KJV: "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Lord Jesus, I come to you in total submission of heart; forgive me of all my wrongs and sins committed, and totally purge and cleanse me by your blood, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen

2. Lord Jesus, by your mercy, I receive the grace to completely lay down my life to you in total surrender all the days of my life, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen

3. Lord Jesus, break me and remold me to your perfect image, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen

4. Lord Jesus, as you transform me to your divine and glorious image, help me never to go back to my old ways, but showcase Christ in all my ways, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
