CHRISTIAN'S LIFE OF SUBMISSION (PART 5)

KEY TEXT: Hebrews 11:6 KJV: "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

SUBMISSION AS A FORM OF WORSHIP

When believers submit their lives to Jesus Christ, it becomes an act of worship, acknowledging His lordship. "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service" (ROMANS 12:1).

THE CHALLENGES OF SUBMISSION

Submission can be difficult, especially when it conflicts with personal desires or societal norms. However, reliance on the Holy Spirit enables believers to overcome these challenges. "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" (PHILIPPIANS 4:13).

ETERNAL REWARDS FOR SUBMISSION

Faithful submission to God and His purposes will be rewarded in eternity. Believers are assured of His promises and everlasting joy. "His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord" (MATTHEW 25:21).

PONDER

A Christian's life of submission is a profound act of faith that aligns believers with God's divine plan, enabling them to live in harmony with His will and receive His abundant blessings. Strive to live your life henceforth in complete obedience to the word of God.

PRAYER

O Lord my God, have mercy on me, in anyway I have been a disobedient child. I desire to do your will, grant me the heart of fruitful obedience, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
