CHRISTIAN'S LIFE OF SUBMISSION (PART 4)

KEY TEXT: 2 CORINTHIANS 10:6 KJV: “And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”

MUTUAL SUBMISSION AMONG BELIEVERS:

Submission is also about serving one another in humility, reflecting Christ's love. This builds a spirit of unity in the church. "Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God" (EPHESIANS 5:21).

CHILDREN and PARENTAL SUBMISSION

Children are instructed to submit to their parents' authority as an act of obedience to God. This command comes with a promise of blessing. "Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right" (EPHESIANS 6:1).

THE BLESSINGS OF SUBMISSION

Submission to God and His ways brings peace, joy, and spiritual blessings. It allows believers to experience His favor and guidance. "The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way" (PSALM 25:9).

PRAYER

Lord Jesus Christ, as you were in complete obedience to the will of your Father during your earthly ministry, please release that same spirit and mind of obedience upon all the children in the body of Christ to obey their parents, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: 2 Corinthians 2:9 KJV: “For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.”
