A WORLD OF NO PERMANENT RESIDENCY (PART 4)

KEY TEXT: JOHN 14:2 KJV: “In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

HEAVEN IS A REAL PLACE: Heaven is not a story or imagination—it is a real place prepared by God for those who love Him. Jesus Christ Himself spoke about it and assured us that it is already prepared. Many people focus so much on this present world that they forget there is a glorious home awaiting the faithful. Heaven is the ultimate destination where believers will dwell in the presence of God forever. Hebrews 11:16

THE GLORY AND JOY OF HEAVEN: Heaven is a place of unspeakable joy, peace, and glory where there is no pain, sorrow, or suffering. Every tear will be wiped away, and there will be no more death or affliction. The struggles of this world cannot be compared to the glory that awaits those who remain faithful to God. This hope should encourage every believer to endure and stay committed to their walk with God. Revelation 21:4

HEAVEN IS FOR THE PREPARED: Not everyone will make heaven—it is reserved for those who are prepared and living according to God’s will. Living for heaven requires holiness, obedience, and a genuine relationship with Christ. It is not enough to know about heaven; you must live in a way that qualifies you for it. Those who overcome sin and remain faithful will inherit this glorious eternal home. Matthew 5:8

PRAYER:

O Lord, prepare my heart for heaven, help me to live a life of holiness and obedience, and keep me faithful until the end in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Colossians 3:2 KJV: “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. O Lord, help me to set my affection on heavenly things and not on earthly distractions in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

2. Father, prepare my life daily so that I will be counted worthy to enter heaven in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

3. Lord Jesus, give me the grace to live holy and remain faithful until the end in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

4. Father, let nothing in this world cause me to miss my place in heaven in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
