A WORLD OF NO PERMANENT RESIDENCY (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: 2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV: “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body…”

THE CERTAINTY OF JUDGMENT: After death, every individual will stand before God to give account of their life. This judgment is unavoidable and impartial—no one will be exempted. Every action, word, and decision made on earth will be brought into review. This truth calls for deep reflection, as what we do in this temporary world determines our eternal outcome. Ecclesiastes 12:14

WHAT WILL MATTER IN ETERNITY: On the day of judgment, earthly achievements such as wealth, fame, and status will have no value. What will matter is your relationship with God and how faithfully you lived according to His Word. Many things people chase today will be irrelevant in eternity, while the things they ignore—like righteousness and obedience—will become the most important. A wise believer focuses on what heaven recognizes. Matthew 6:19–20

MAKE YOUR LIFE COUNT FOR ETERNITY: Since this world is temporary, your life must be lived with eternity in view. Every day is an opportunity to invest in your eternal destiny through holy living, service to God, and impacting others for Christ. Do not wait for a “better time” to take your walk with God seriously—now is the acceptable time. A life lived for God is never wasted and will be rewarded eternally. 2 Corinthians 6:2

PRAYER:

O Lord, help me to live a life that will stand approved before You, and let everything I do count for eternity in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Matthew 6:21 KJV: “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. O Lord, help me to live daily with the consciousness of the judgment seat of Christ in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

2. Father, deliver me from pursuing things that have no eternal value in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

3. Lord Jesus, empower me to live a life of righteousness and obedience that pleases You in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

4. Father, let my life produce fruits that will speak for me in eternity in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
