A DEEPER WALK WITH GOD IS DEMANDED (PART 1)

KEY TEXT: MICAH 6:8 KJV: "He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"

WALKING WITH GOD IS A JOURNEY OF FAITH AND OBEDIENCE: Walking with God is a life of Fellowship and Obedience. From the beginning, God has desired fellowship with mankind, as seen in the life of Enoch, who walked so closely with God that he was taken directly into His presence. A true walk with God requires consistency, faith, and a heart fully surrendered to Him. "And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him" (GENESIS 5:24).

WALKING WITH GOD MEANS LIVING IN AGREEMENT WITH HIS WILL: The Bible asks, "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" (Amos 3:3). A true walk with God requires alignment with His Word, His ways, and His purposes. This means surrendering our desires and choosing His path, even when it challenges our flesh. MATTHEW 28:18

A WALK WITH GOD IS BUILT ON FAITH, NOT SIGHT: Many times, God will call us to step forward without seeing the full picture. Like Abraham, who obeyed God without knowing where he was going, we must trust His guidance completely. "For we walk by faith, not by sight" (2 CORINTHIANS 5:7).

PRAYER:

Father Lord, grant me the grace to trust you enough to be able to say yes to your will at all times, regardless of circumstances, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

PROVERBS 3:5-6 KJV: "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
